This course is designed for 4th and 5th graders of all skill levels. Every 6 weeks, a new session will open, and parents will be notified in advance. The course is designed to introduce kids to Python programming through a hands-on, project-based approach. Each session is interactive, enabling students to build their own projects while developing essential coding skills in a fun and engaging environment. Prerequisites: 👉 No prior programming experience is needed 👉 Students should have basic computer skills (using mouse, keyboard) Course Requirements: Laptop for each student will be provided for class use. Grades: 4 & 5 Benefits: 👉 Learn Python programming 👉 Develop coding interest 👉 Get ready for next advanced class 👉 Prepare for future careers in STEM fields Location: Farmland ES Lesson: One lesson per week and 1.5 hour / Lesson ⭐️ This class is only available for Farmland ES students. ⭐️ There will be no class when Farmland ES is closed or has an early release, and no charges will be applied for those days. Grades: 2 & 3 Benefits: 👉 Scratch empowers kids to bring their ideas to life through 👉 Teaches problem-solving skills as kids figure out how to make their projects work. 👉 Scratch encourages logical thinking as kids create sequences of actions to achieve their goals. 👉 Scratch provides a strong foundation for learning more advanced coding languages in the future.
