Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 15, 2026
First Coding Path("FCP", "we", "us", or "our") respects your family's privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website, learning platform, live classes, and related services (the "Services").
Because our Services are designed for children, accounts are created and managed by a parent or legal guardian. By using the Services, you agree to this Policy and our Terms & Conditions.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only what we need to provide and improve the Services:
- Account & contact information— such as the parent/guardian and student name, email address, phone number, mailing address, and the student's grade level, provided during sign-up.
- Learning activity — lessons viewed, exercises and quizzes completed, progress, XP/badges, homework, and code or projects a student submits.
- Payment information — handled by our third-party payment processor. We receive limited details (such as confirmation and the last digits/brand of a card) but do not store full payment card numbers.
- Communications — messages you send us (for example, via the contact form or email) and our responses.
- Technical information — basic device, browser, and usage data needed to run, secure, and improve the Services.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- create and manage accounts and enrollments;
- deliver classes, lessons, the code playground, and track learning progress;
- process payments and send billing and scheduling notices;
- respond to questions and provide support;
- keep the Services safe, secure, and working properly; and
- improve our content and learning experience.
3. Children's Privacy
Protecting children is a priority. Accounts must be created by a parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for the child's use of the Services. We collect a child's personal information only as needed to provide the educational Services, and we do not sell children's personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
A parent or guardian may review their child's information, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw consent for further collection by contacting us at firstcodingpath@gmail.com. If we learn we have collected information from a child without the required parental consent, we will delete it.
5. Third-Party Services
We rely on reputable third parties to operate the Services, including hosting and database providers, our payment processor, and open-source technology that powers the in-browser code playground. These providers have their own privacy practices. The Services may also link to third-party websites we do not control; we are not responsible for their privacy practices, and we encourage you to review their policies.
7. Data Security & Retention
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We keep personal information only as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
8. Your Choices & Rights
Depending on where you live, you (or your child's guardian) may be able to:
- access, correct, or update account information;
- request deletion of personal information;
- withdraw consent to further collection; and
- opt out of non-essential communications.
To make a request, contact us at firstcodingpath@gmail.com. We will respond consistent with applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Services after changes become effective means you accept the updated Policy.
